Reframing Menopause

Understanding Women's Health & How to Support Life's Transitions

Perimenopause and menopause are periods that every female will experience for a period of 10-20 years.  Sadly, most women have little information about the symptoms of these stages and how these shifts will impact them. The symptoms experienced can be crippling- often providing physical discomfort and mental distress. Some of the most common experienced are mood swings, increased anxiety, hot flashes, chronic muscle/joint pain, insomnia, decreased sex drive, sexual pain, and brain fog. In addition, typically women going through these hormonal shifts are also experiencing great personal shifts with empty nesting, aging, health decline, increased caretaker stress, and sometimes the death of parents. As a clinician, I know that past trauma or chronic stress can greatly influence the severity of symptoms and how one is able to cope.


I am committed to providing women with education, understanding, and support during this difficult time. Our expertise is an integrative approach that focuses on science-driven tools, nutrition, and clinical expertise to help women navigate this incredible shift.


Menopause is not the end of life. It often is a calling to take the lessons learned over the first part of life and have it translated into the wisdom and meaning.
